Currently we are going to upgrade Exchange 2010 SP1 to Exchange 2010 SP3 which is one of the step is preparing AD. But in the mid of process, we re facing the following error “The well known object entry with the GUID xxxx” as shown on the picture below.

How to deal with this error:
- In my case, Open Active Directory Users and Computers, then go to OU Microsoft Exchange Security Groyps, right click to Exchange All Hosted Organizations > Properties.
- Change the Group scope from Universal to Global
- For me, this step solve the issue. re-run prepareAD to know the result.
- Sometime you just need to read the message error shown.
